Devlog #1

My name is Jocelyn, but I normally go by Lyn. I'm taking this class because I’m hoping to graduate with the Game Design and Culture certificate. This certificate means a lot to me because since I was a kid, I’ve loved all sorts of games whether it was those silly flash games everyone used to play as kids or board games like Candy Land. I love all things gaming and want to work in the gaming industry someday and I’m hoping this will help me do just that. I really hope to learn what goes into designing a game that everyone can enjoy! Designing is more of my game space when it comes to creating games, trust me I tried coding and it wasn’t for me, so I hope I learn lots of things that can help me improve and expand on my talents. Currently, I've been playing a lot of the mobile game Genshin Impact and I'm hoping to play more Persona 5 when it comes to the Switch in October! I've also recently got in DnD and I've been having a blast even though I’m not 100% sure what’s going on half the time. I just really enjoy the character designing aspect of it and ofc the fact that I get to play it with my friends.
